Begin with your routine
Having a drink with meals and keeping water accessible can make hydration less easy to forget. Your needs vary with activity, weather and individual circumstances, so a fixed number is a starting point rather than a measurement of what your body needs today.
Water is not the only fluid that counts. The British Nutrition Foundation includes a range of drinks when discussing fluid intake. Follow any individual fluid advice if a clinician has given you one.
Adjust for the day
A hot day or a longer, sweatier session may change what is comfortable and appropriate. Do not force excessive amounts simply to complete a ring in an app.
Specialised sports drinks are not automatically required for every gym session. Consider the activity and duration rather than the branding on the bottle.
Make logging quick
Set a usual drink amount in Gorivo, then record the water you intend that control to represent. If your bottle changes size, update the amount so repeated taps still mean what you think they mean.
Keep the target in perspective
A daily graph can reveal that you routinely forget to drink during busy mornings. It cannot diagnose hydration status. Use the log as a practical prompt alongside how you feel and any relevant medical advice.
